Good morning world, if ya'all happened to read this and ya'all are anywhere around my place, then it should only be by two means. The 1st one would be, you is sitting at home in front of your PC or whatever cyber socializing while the second would be ya'all are accessing this through your feeds/updates/mobile/blackberry and such while partying hard.
The latter brings me to this post...
I was having a ball past evening chilling at Cronik's base-camp(the place we use to kick our recordings done). We had loads to catch-up since I've been relatively busy recently when I only get to see this guys as performing counterparts on shows. So we chatted and chatted and chatted (looping!). And we hit YOUTUBE....
The interface we were using was practically Apple i-Mac and since i was enthusiastic on sharing some independent hip hop with these cats, I piloted the computer and I was INDEED having a HARD TIME with the TOUCH PAD, CURSORS, WINDOWS, SCROLLING and such... I mean u have touch pads with singular click panel-no lefts and rights(seemed like telephones with no handles), and a charger which would jump from your hand to the PC when it's approximately 4 centimeters away. I know I'm hyperbolic, my bad..
So yeah, this wasn't my first date with an i-Mac, years ago i was bumping on a apple program called Garage Band, and it earns you to be a producer with clicks away. You'd have loops of all kinds which are ready for your creative arrangement. I loved it, but i hated it at the same time coz I could basically use this only via my pals laptop.. I do not have a Mac, yet..my bad
I even found out the universal truth that Mac based interfaces project better sound quality at the constant bit-rate when compared to Windows(leaving out the sound-card variable here). I started downloading '.aiff' files to be converted to '.wav' though knowing im splicing the bit-rate... my bad but hey..im much more of a sample based producer
All these events had made me ponder today that, despite of me trying to get down with loads of 'techy' stuffs related to my music, I'm a noob when it comes to APPLE. I have my thumbs up for u guys who wud murder music production via composing, playing live and recording with a Mac. DJ E-One, you is dope!!!
Well done u kept the doctor at bay!!!
Windowing while feeling secured coz I ain't got a CMD key anywhere near my Ctrl or Alt button
