How mutant can a dubstep get?

What's good ladies, I know I've been posting a lot of dubstep this recent time. Ya'all can't blame me coz the dopest hash i could get on them Friday night is some mighty fine skate punks oscillating them basses to them tempo. I instantaneously fell in love. I was hoping for a miracle that there would be some local reference in Malaysia. I was going through some blogs on UKF dubstep community and up to my surprise,i got a tiny link to a Malaysian dubstep duo. This cats call themselves H3. A group consisting two personnel and shit load of gritty talent. Ive noticed that their style has been low tempo drum pattern with loads more going on with their bass and synth. What caught my attention was merely the recognizable "wah", "yea", "yoi" basses with monster affects. The minute 1/4 to 1/32 step to convey their cuts has been outrages. Other than that, h3 also known as mutant bla bla has remixed loads of dubstep artist's tracks namely Doctor P, Electro icons like Ocelot. Locally H3 would be releasing their album this 2011 with the name 'Mutant Dub'. I had a chance to hear them on their "soundcloud" on a track with the same name. You would catch Jin Hackman starring on this with a good rap maship. It's a bouncy track but what bothers me is the fact the basses would not thump and rumble my trunk for real. My assumption would be that a lower bitrate track has been uploaded(i wouldn't know!). Hence I long for the best stinger from the original album when its out. This guys are currently making shows under the Basspunk management so yeah im hoping to get to their shows when I'm down back in Malaysia. Till then enjoy this track, I'd feed ya,all more on the album once i get a hookup.I can't wait!!!!!

The creative wobble bass

Good afternoon lunch packers. Please do share some lunch with me if we bump today. Bandung is indeed amplifying our daily prayers since them weather has been scorching hot and absolutely unpredictable as the day passes by. I'm not complaining, but its been hard for a hustler to make business (playing Hustle and Flow OST - It's hard out here for a pimp!!!).

What cools my day off is my mp3 player for real. While I'm always fidgeting with it, I came across this creative track that converges to this blog post. Dubstep has always been my weekend lust, I made a point that i would not listen to it any other day when I first started to. Bummer! - I'm alternating it all day now.

I'd like the small bunch of reader of my blog and perhaps the world to this fancy video clip by Densette Junior. The creativity of the human mind is unarguably precipitates everything else in this world (in your face bots!). I guess I'd talk less and let ya'all have what ever mouth-washers post your lunch with this. I'm hiring/signing this pigeons for my production unit and my live shows. Holler at me if ya'all got a better video. One

Aliens that we create

Whats happening world, happy new year to all of you, and I wish you a great year ahead. Been a colorful start of them year i should say, I'm all caught up with work yet I get to chill by the weekends to make my musical ends meet.

Today, a lazy Sunday ended me up watching both Tron (1982) and Tron Legacy(2010).I was judging that it would take a rough 3 hours of mine before I yawn it off - I WAS WRONG! Tron was great, both the movie made such an impact to me that I reflected back to my childhood.

Pardon me but I'm not giving any spoilers on both movies. At the meantime I'd just share some ample information and bread crumbs to this greatness. Tron was 1st released in 1982. Imagine with no Windows and what else Mac to smooth-en them graphics, the produces managed to uphold justice to them cinematic. I reckon wearing off my first MS-Dos Pacman on a two dimensional platform, Tron on the other hand was 3D. I know, my youngest brother would laugh me off on this while swinging his Wii - but hey respect the old school son! The story line is great and the name Tron comes from a character in the film although if he's not the main protagonist in them. The motorcycles in the film just caught my eyes to see how it evolved ideas later on on Japanese 'animes' and almost every one of your masked super heroes with the exception of Spideman.

Tron which was released in 2010 just rectified the hype as technology was vast in the film making. I would not argue the sophisticated means of fluorescent colors of white, orange and red that has been sourcing the dark cinematography. Again, I'm not designated to tell you what happens here! But yeah. it was less meaningless to name this installation as Tron as I hardly got to see him throughout the move, maybe at the third end yeah!

What brings me to the head of this post is, how biblical the characters on both Trons were portrayed. The terms of 'Creator', 'son of the Creator' were used in syllabus to deciphering philosophy, religion and illness. Alas, the most perplexing enigma of alien existence were succumbed to ones we created in minute bit chips surrounding us. The concepts of transposing matter from one continuum to another time and space was 'savvy' on Tron. Brahh. no more ghetto!

Music wise, Daft Punk make a short appearance on the second installation of Tron unlike my expectation to catch them on both. Them old cats would be younger than Jeff Bridges with the helmets on. I liked how Daft Punk worked on the scores on this. I was longing for some wicked basslines on the electro 2 steps beat which only nectar-ed at the end of the movie. Anyways, everybody love Daft Punk without giving a damn who is them! I love them

Dig this and go rent them movies,

Are we on a wild goose chase on other eukaryotes while we move modalities of improving technology with means of artificial intelligence's logarithmic consciousness.

It Was A Good Number 10

Good morning ya'all. I woke up early in the day today just to show love to my blog. It's been far too long coming and I've been mean no to update stuff. Thanks to all your replies via facebook and myspace, I've been making ya'all hang in there for yet another intriguing post here.

Over these months, my life has taken another route of being busy. I know I shouldn't be complaining much. Apart from that everything else in 2010 was sweet, matter of fact I did not realize time has passed in a glimpse. This means I have my last year here in Bandung, Indonesia before I head back for good to Malaysia. I've been slackin to complete projects these few months because I was caught with work. Surgery was good physical challenge put to test for a rapper like me. I hardly had weekends to appear in front of ya'all, what else on Ladies Nights.

Good news is, I've been subtle taking learning curves in the field of self inspired music production. By mentioning the word self here, I'm not brushing of my camaraderie who has tipped me loads of insightful inputs. I got myself a new laptop - a music machine that has improved my touch of creativity. Ampliflying this, is the fact that I've been picking up Propellerheads's Reason software and Ableton's Live. It's a huge transition music wise for a sample based producer like me to conceptualize and improve my workmanship. Still a disciple for the discipline, I am working on mind deliverance of my music. Korg Nanopad has been my best buy so far as I've always dreamed to have a MPC 3000. Big dreams to be fulfilled one day from now, lets give it up for Korg for now.

Lyrical wise, I've been writing quite as much, but I've had trouble allocating studio time. I wish upon a Black Star that 2011 would write me off a path of spitting freedom. In a nutshell, I have beats to work on with my vocal alibi, I have dream tracks to work on with professionals and I'm hungry to spit freestyles at your shows or them aftermath.

So yeah, 2010 has been beautiful just as them ladies who has been making warm inside all year long. Hip Hop this year didn't bore my ear drums both locally (Indo and Malaysia) and at them international stage. I am looking forward for 2011. Loads of Electronic, Dub Step and Experimental stiff would be assimilated to my mother love of hip hop and rap. Whatever ya'all have done with an inspiration in 2010, move it on a gradual course in 2011. Let's pen history together.

Ohh yeah, before i forget this, advanced Happy New Year wishes tonight. Let me know how are ya'all partying tonight, we should catch up. Cheers for loads of beers

I was never gone, I was away on leave (A.W.O.L), I'm back - so turn it on.

Waddup petite shawties and handsome lads, greetings to ya'all. Sometime back ago, I was promoting Kota Tinggi Troops (KTT) for their run for the Bangkit compilation. DJ Scratchy - Live Dubstep Mix

Morning people.. If ya'all are chilling at your sweet escape just like ya bwoy's doing, then ya'll should take some note. Indonesia's finest turntablist DJ Scratchy hooked me up with breakfast for my mind with a free dubstep mix.

Ya'll know, most stuff on my blog would be free and promotional, and yessur we only portray them stress relievers. Mathematically, by taking some of ya time, im reducing (potential)crime rates and such (kidding!)

I've known Agung a.k.a DJ Scratchy for quite sometime. Other than just being my producer who mixd and mastered my tracks on my numero uno studio mixtape Fresh Tapes, this person has always been musically an idol to me. A short biography bout this due wouldn't hurt as much. This personnel is few of those pioneer turntablist hip hop outfits who were performing scratches in them city streets of Bandung back in the days. He also took music production on a serious level beyond hip hop since he produced and engineered loads of art pieces to loads of fellow musicians across Indonesia. Ya'all want names? Dewi Sandra or Sandra Dewi (ask either one, i forgot).

Back to the story, this cat since than has been renowned or his skills on the turntable and authentic mixes at parties not mentioning producing skills. Few years back, lets say 2 years back - he developed a much improper way of saying lust towards drum n bass/ dub step/ electro-ish mixes. Ive been witnessing loads of DNB mixes to them average hip hop tracks. I'm those hooked fans who has been sharing loads of exclusive mixes with the personnel. Recently, Cronik Labs Studio, which is the home-ground for the Bandung underground hip hop camaraderie progressed to a better environment of studio upgrade. It has since been relocated and known as Trackbaze Studios to the Bandung local scene. This is the 1st essential product of them studio although it is rumored that Cronik would be recording their visuals soon for their footage.

Till Then if ya'all dig dub step and I recognized some glitch and grime in the midst of this mix.. feel free to download, hook up with ya favorite DJ, get some words about the mix and drop ya comments. Don't forget the 'Like' button.since you wouldn't get a 50 minute free mix like ya'll attended them private DNB parties ya'all got bassed out.

This is the 1st DNB/Dub Step/Glitch/Grime mix coming at ya'all straight from Bandung. Although over the years I've been hearing loads of live mixes from loads of them local DJs and DNB outfits - never have came across any recorded/internet friendly ear candies. Time to do some research

This mix starts with a lady asking me to 'show her..blabla'. Lolz.

Story of a Rap Gladiator

What's them restful weekend for sizzle like people?. What brings me to this post is my man Dafrosty. Yes u heard me, Mr.Frost is back with his mixtape ready to be bootlegged to your local drives and them jogging apparels. Apparently, I've been hooked with this mixtape ever since i downloaded it. These are few(maybe loads) reasons:

1. The mixtape is free
2. The bitrate is 320 kbps
3. This mixtape has 15 tracks including its skits
4. This is exclusively been produced, mixed and mastered by Dafrosty, whilst some tracks are produced by Sazz The Villain, Shazet and Dafrosty himself.
5. The mixtape has shitload of samples to make ya'all ponder and such,
6. The artists inclined/listed on them mixtape murdered their slots
7. The deliverance of the host would immaculately flip and toss emcees apart as a reference for them career!
8. There are lyrics embedded in all of them tracks!!!
9. It has Magneto's helmet as its mixtape cover
10. This is strictly UNDERGROUND
*Feel free to hook me up with more reasons if ya'all got em'.

This mixtape psychedelically 'shroomed' me from the moment I hit them play on my media player. Imagine, having a mash of Brother Ali, Final OutlaW, Sabac and Mr. Lif ripping tonsils on them Madlib, El-P beats. Dafrosty lifted the Malaysian rap arena to another level with his spells on beats and rhymes. Well this cat key-styles a lot and these are few key-stylers who sounds better spitting.

My money for the mixtape would be Fire Works the immediate track after the strong intro sampled from Malcolm X. For split a second, I rechecked my playlist to screen for Vinnie Paz. The soothing piano and high frequency cut drums at the intro speaks loads of stories to your average beat makers. Sazz The Villain layered an air ball which Mr.Frost slam dunked with style.

Rap Gladiator was the next to initiate the action potential in my ear hair cells. This track was heavily experimental and it's the 1st I've heard of his such from a Malaysian producer/emcee. I should say it's bold and reached it's whereabouts.

Salvation is surely the next skate boarder's anthem even though this sounded handsomely grungy. Lina Halim engineered a 3 syllable tune and spoke nothing more. Again, Dafrosty took me by surprise with the rhymes. This is a cover from Cranberries which I'm honestly not familiar since I've never heard them girls. Maybe i should in the future, now look how hip hop cross promotes other genres! (bragging rights!)

The Rap Gladiator Mixtape by Dafrosty

Overall I'm rating this album a 7 out of 10 stars. This is the best local business I've heard all year long. Dafrosty is your next existent rapper you would say "I knew him" as the kid continuously executes mid-day mutiny on rap. I would love to see him maintain and sharpen his current style. At them mean time, keep a lookout for his unique deliverance, signature beats and deep rhyme not an average emcee would do. This mixtape is a MUST HAVE for all no matter ya'all are digging rap or hip-pop!

High Notes from a Lowkey

Happy 53rd Independence day Malaysia. The numbers really would ambiguously differ in meaning for the masses. I wouldn't bullshit saying I'm much of the patriotic nor nationalistic younGns. On paper, we are 53 years independent off the United Kingdom, and I really am glad full since I've been given all the basic necessities from my nation - enough if not all.

Getting back on the UK, I've been constantly writing on their hip hop scene. Some has been dropping mails and such asking why is the local Malaysian, Indonesian and New York cover ups been less and such. At the moment I'd love to say that I'm seconding if not introducing some new school instrumentals with old school rhymes from all over the world. Local boys gotta wait, I'mma step them game up sooner or later..

I recently heard this rapper from the UK, and this lad was featured in a mixtape entitled Concealed Weapons II hosted by The League Of Extraordinary Gz. This Iraqi blooded rapper is named Lowkey. I sat down and watched a couple of video's of him on Youtube and up to my surprise, the rhymes were properly arranged to be verbally "kill my Valentine". I did some research on his personal website and found that, this guy is an activist and much would some argue that he has them anti-American sentinels jotted down by various sites about his music. I'd refute to that since being a frontier, upholding your beliefs, segregating war bullshits and questioning power would not make Lowkey for instance a laggard. This cat has shifted from sounding American earlier in his mixtapes to the thick UK accent (I cant hardly get em!).

Gentlemen, I'd would like to second this video not as a part of mocking Obama's administration, nor would I tally to the conventional UK Hip Hop versus NYC shiznit. I'm doing this for the Palestinian's and them freedom fighters, them emcees who would wanna have something to relate to, to those rap critics who has meticulously penned wrong inks about the current quality of rhyme schemes. Breaching To Write

All right good-fellaz, I thank ya'all for all your mails and Facebook messages this past few weeks. I know Ramadhan has started, thanks as well for the fasting wishes. I don't fast though, I adore those who do so. A lot of you cats has been asking me what's new music wise, when would my mixtape be dropping in Indonesia and such. I'd just wanna say it's been on put for quite sometime right now, your boy has been doing loads of street shows by the weekends but I'm yet to find the time to promote my mixtape. That's a real harsh pain in the gluteus right now!

My productions on the other hand has been put to good use. Kota Tinggi Troops topped the Gempak Charts and they have been given some sort of contract to re-record the song. My man Cue Dubz from South Africa has produced his video of the street banger "There's A Plan". Back in Bandung, Modern Rap Rubbish are working on a underground joint as well as Ruffneck and Missy Allen's unreleased singles.

In short, I have confirmed pending stuffs to ponder upon this next few months:
1) Kota Tinggi Troops - Warisan Perjuangan(produced by MC Nucleo)
2) Cue Dubz - There's A Plan (produced by MC Nucleo)
3) Modern Rap Rubbish - Self Titled (produced by MC Nucleo)
4) Missy Allen feat MC Nucleo - Self Titled (produced by MC Nucleo)
5) Eastside 21 feat MC Nucleo - Everlasting (produced by DJ Dizz)
6) One Blood - Ganyang Pembodohan Media (produced by MC Nucleo)

At the same time, I'm feeling gloomy with work nowadays. I'm not ventilating and such, but yeah its BLUE-ish.

I'm in need to write, hence I was in search for some good lyrics to challenge my Broca's area today.. I came across Final Outlaw's single called Breach The Surface. This is the best shit I heard this month for real. There are just too many good quotes to make you underground cats clap(trust me).

If you happen to purchase music on i-Tunes, stop B-O-B-ing and do this for real. I just got mine, its worth every penny and I'm not sharing. This would for real help me in months to come. Do hear them song and stay young as they claimed We're all Gonna Die..

Get KRUMP

Wuddz Krump ya'al!

A few days ago, i got the chance to watch National Geographic Channels International- "Taiwan to the World" 3 involving a dance group about their journey in USA while learning and competing in music. I'd leave this Taiwan hip hop for another post!

What really caught my attention was those non-protagonist acts in them show. I came across Tommy The Clown from the group Hip Hop Clowns. Tommy is unlike any evil clowns that would eat your brains out from those 90's movies that used to scare my nights out..(kidding!). Tommy showed me them dance that I've never bothered to say "What's up" and the word "Krump"

That's right Krump is not synonymous as the famous low tempo dirty south hip hop sub-genre. They might be related though. Urban Dictionary says that Krumping is intended as an outlet for anger and as a nonviolent alternative to the street violence widespread in many of the areas where it is performed.

I'm lifted with the style these dancers portray for real. This is energetic and off the hooks. Ask Tommy yourself, he's been pioneering this since 1992. Word, I'm only getting the knowledge about this in 2010- No that's is an educational rift, I reckon.

All ya'all gotta do now is, de-tour yourselves to this youtube trailer. This is called Rize, Im Out!!

P/S holler me if ya'all dance like this, Imma' hit some production in them studio and get rowdy with ya'al on them streets!

Kota Tinggi Troops tops Bangkit independent online music poll

Kota Tinggi Troops(KTT), who has not heard about them boys? I guess much would under rate them boys as they one of the freshest to come out hardcore with Bahasa Melayu (the national language of Malaysia). On 31st of June, KTT proved they are indeed being heard as they topped the Bangkit charts with their singles 'Warisan Perjuangan' by a timid gap of 0.36% vote from all other songs. My maths got artistic when i tried figuring out how does the ballot counting process took place. Indeed the prior statement from the website insisted that the top songs voted would then undergo a selection process from various Malaysian big personalities before it is finally compiled in the CD.

KTT and I has been inviting you via e-mails and Facebook to vote for the song prior to this and we would like to personally thank ya'all for the support. Them boys has been working hard in both promoting and bringing lyricism into new heights!

Bangkit is an independent movement of youth activism trying to make a difference through various means. One of them currently recognized is music and this is handsomely portrayed. KTT on the other end need our help to undergo a "new" set of voting process before the songs are judged for further arrangement and recording. I'm not complaining by any means- but I'm hoping this would come out smooth as I produced this song for them. The lyrics of the song would somewhat rebut Malaysian political fronts thought and ideas about the younger generation being weak. They should listen to more hip hop prior to giving national speeches.

Them boys has been working hard in both promoting and bringing lyricism into new heights!

Straight from the undergrounds of Japan

It has been 2 months since I had the time to sit in front of my computer and blog, but yet I'm all certain none missed anything about it. Anyways, I've been all good in case you all did not wanna know :p. Enough of them spotlight yearning gimmicks, recently I was browsing online for some fly custom Nike Air Force Ones, and I came about at this custom design from Japan. Cape Town's Freshest

What's been happenin world? We recently surpassed mother's day, nurses day, and such. I've been busy trying to make ends meet hence its been hard to update my blog. But I'm finally doin it today. My belated wishes to those nurses and mum's- appreciate it coz ya'all make the world a better place. Talking about the world, my hommie Cue Dubz recently hooked me up with a pretty chilled track from his hometown in South Africa. It's NIA and this spliff is called For Da People. Produced by Supreme 1, Kapi-Ton begins the day time mutiny on them track only to be later on autopsied by Cue Dubz at the end of the track. I love the dub feel on this track. This gives me thousands of reasons to get to South Africa one day to get involved with them scene one day from now. Meanwhile, I'd be completing my joints with Cue Dubz down in Bandung!!! I'd be waiting for more dope thangs from this boys and the rest of them African cats since I got loads of listening materials from DJ Gordz recently, would be uppiN later since I'm savin em' now!

Ya'll should enjoy the track, hear 4 emcees rep Cape Town and their community. Lyrically this is some'in tight to relate.

I gotta totally disagree when ya'all say UK hip hop comes below the American rap scene.. I got solid reasons for that ever since I've been bumping to grime, gritty and glitch hip hop tracks. Well many of ya'all would have a different opinion on this since somewhat grime would be synonymously mistaken for crunk. It vibrates differently on ear drums- :)

Despite those thick accents, heavy basses, unorganized drums and off your average rap grid lyrics, I came across this cat called Devlin. When i googled more about this emcee's whereabouts, I discovered that he is indeed heavily linked with US rapper Eminem. Nope not D12, Shady Records and Dre's camp, but some lyrical conflicts and collaborations. Those two statements would be heaven's and earth distance since I failed to obtain much feed about this. There is a recorded freestyle involving both emcees, but am yet to validate its presence. Whatever it is, both emcees are multi-syllabic and uses creative wordplays on short stanza.

I'm tipping Devlin to plunge out of the scene globally surpassing your hip hop norms since UK is delivering a 'salvation' to those in sense of rap ailment. Devlin would define himself as a "Giant" on Youtube. Move with the words and the 8-mile like video since this is definitely UK's finest grime artist...

Outstanding lines from here would be

I got this feeling/ when i stand up i gotta bend my neck - so that my cranium doesn't touch the ceiling//

Guess my size is overwhelming/ You don't posses the power to fight monsters like Van Helsing//

Stand up, put your F'in hands up...
