How mutant can a dubstep get?

What's good ladies, I know I've been posting a lot of dubstep this recent time. Ya'all can't blame me coz the dopest hash i could get on them Friday night is some mighty fine skate punks oscillating them basses to them tempo. I instantaneously fell in love. I was hoping for a miracle that there would be some local reference in Malaysia. I was going through some blogs on UKF dubstep community and up to my surprise,i got a tiny link to a Malaysian dubstep duo. This cats call themselves H3. A group consisting two personnel and shit load of gritty talent. Ive noticed that their style has been low tempo drum pattern with loads more going on with their bass and synth. What caught my attention was merely the recognizable "wah", "yea", "yoi" basses with monster affects. The minute 1/4 to 1/32 step to convey their cuts has been outrages. Other than that, h3 also known as mutant bla bla has remixed loads of dubstep artist's tracks namely Doctor P, Electro icons like Ocelot. Locally H3 would be releasing their album this 2011 with the name 'Mutant Dub'. I had a chance to hear them on their "soundcloud" on a track with the same name. You would catch Jin Hackman starring on this with a good rap maship. It's a bouncy track but what bothers me is the fact the basses would not thump and rumble my trunk for real. My assumption would be that a lower bitrate track has been uploaded(i wouldn't know!). Hence I long for the best stinger from the original album when its out. This guys are currently making shows under the Basspunk management so yeah im hoping to get to their shows when I'm down back in Malaysia. Till then enjoy this track, I'd feed ya,all more on the album once i get a hookup.I can't wait!!!!!

Do check out their official website via : http://www.wearemutants.com/

The creative wobble bass

Good afternoon lunch packers. Please do share some lunch with me if we bump today. Bandung is indeed amplifying our daily prayers since them weather has been scorching hot and absolutely unpredictable as the day passes by. I'm not complaining, but its been hard for a hustler to make business (playing Hustle and Flow OST - It's hard out here for a pimp!!!).

What cools my day off is my mp3 player for real. While I'm always fidgeting with it, I came across this creative track that converges to this blog post. Dubstep has always been my weekend lust, I made a point that i would not listen to it any other day when I first started to. Bummer! - I'm alternating it all day now.

I'd like the small bunch of reader of my blog and perhaps the world to this fancy video clip by Densette Junior. The creativity of the human mind is unarguably precipitates everything else in this world (in your face bots!). I guess I'd talk less and let ya'all have what ever mouth-washers post your lunch with this. I'm hiring/signing this pigeons for my production unit and my live shows. Holler at me if ya'all got a better video. One

Dubstep has more reason to be heard around than them conventional wobbly basses

Aliens that we create

Whats happening world, happy new year to all of you, and I wish you a great year ahead. Been a colorful start of them year i should say, I'm all caught up with work yet I get to chill by the weekends to make my musical ends meet.

Today, a lazy Sunday ended me up watching both Tron (1982) and Tron Legacy(2010).I was judging that it would take a rough 3 hours of mine before I yawn it off - I WAS WRONG! Tron was great, both the movie made such an impact to me that I reflected back to my childhood.

Pardon me but I'm not giving any spoilers on both movies. At the meantime I'd just share some ample information and bread crumbs to this greatness. Tron was 1st released in 1982. Imagine with no Windows and what else Mac to smooth-en them graphics, the produces managed to uphold justice to them cinematic. I reckon wearing off my first MS-Dos Pacman on a two dimensional platform, Tron on the other hand was 3D. I know, my youngest brother would laugh me off on this while swinging his Wii - but hey respect the old school son! The story line is great and the name Tron comes from a character in the film although if he's not the main protagonist in them. The motorcycles in the film just caught my eyes to see how it evolved ideas later on on Japanese 'animes' and almost every one of your masked super heroes with the exception of Spideman.

Tron which was released in 2010 just rectified the hype as technology was vast in the film making. I would not argue the sophisticated means of fluorescent colors of white, orange and red that has been sourcing the dark cinematography. Again, I'm not designated to tell you what happens here! But yeah. it was less meaningless to name this installation as Tron as I hardly got to see him throughout the move, maybe at the third end yeah!

What brings me to the head of this post is, how biblical the characters on both Trons were portrayed. The terms of 'Creator', 'son of the Creator' were used in syllabus to deciphering philosophy, religion and illness. Alas, the most perplexing enigma of alien existence were succumbed to ones we created in minute bit chips surrounding us. The concepts of transposing matter from one continuum to another time and space was 'savvy' on Tron. Brahh. no more ghetto!

Music wise, Daft Punk make a short appearance on the second installation of Tron unlike my expectation to catch them on both. Them old cats would be younger than Jeff Bridges with the helmets on. I liked how Daft Punk worked on the scores on this. I was longing for some wicked basslines on the electro 2 steps beat which only nectar-ed at the end of the movie. Anyways, everybody love Daft Punk without giving a damn who is them! I love them

Dig this and go rent them movies,

It Was A Good Number 10

Good morning ya'all. I woke up early in the day today just to show love to my blog. It's been far too long coming and I've been mean no to update stuff. Thanks to all your replies via facebook and myspace, I've been making ya'all hang in there for yet another intriguing post here.

Over these months, my life has taken another route of being busy. I know I shouldn't be complaining much. Apart from that everything else in 2010 was sweet, matter of fact I did not realize time has passed in a glimpse. This means I have my last year here in Bandung, Indonesia before I head back for good to Malaysia. I've been slackin to complete projects these few months because I was caught with work. Surgery was good physical challenge put to test for a rapper like me. I hardly had weekends to appear in front of ya'all, what else on Ladies Nights.

Good news is, I've been subtle taking learning curves in the field of self inspired music production. By mentioning the word self here, I'm not brushing of my camaraderie who has tipped me loads of insightful inputs. I got myself a new laptop - a music machine that has improved my touch of creativity. Ampliflying this, is the fact that I've been picking up Propellerheads's Reason software and Ableton's Live. It's a huge transition music wise for a sample based producer like me to conceptualize  and improve my workmanship. Still a disciple for the discipline, I am working on mind deliverance of my music. Korg Nanopad has been my best buy so far as I've always dreamed to have a MPC 3000. Big dreams to be fulfilled one day from now, lets give it up for Korg for now.

Lyrical wise, I've been writing quite as much, but I've had trouble allocating studio time. I wish upon a Black Star that 2011 would write me off a path of spitting freedom. In a nutshell, I have beats to work on with my vocal alibi, I have dream tracks to work on with professionals and I'm hungry to spit freestyles at your shows or them aftermath.

So yeah, 2010 has been beautiful just as them ladies who has been making warm inside all year long. Hip Hop this year didn't bore my ear drums both locally (Indo and Malaysia) and at them international stage. I am looking forward for 2011. Loads of Electronic, Dub Step and Experimental stiff would be assimilated to my mother love of hip hop and rap.  Whatever ya'all have done with an inspiration in 2010, move it on a gradual course in 2011. Let's pen history together.

Ohh yeah, before i forget this, advanced Happy New Year wishes tonight. Let me know how are ya'all partying tonight, we should catch up. Cheers for loads of beers

I was never gone, I was away on leave (A.W.O.L), I'm back - so turn it on.

Cheers for loads of beers.

DJ Scratchy - Live Dubstep Mix

Morning people.. If ya'all are chilling at your sweet escape just like ya bwoy's doing, then ya'll should take some note. Indonesia's finest turntablist DJ Scratchy hooked me up with breakfast for my mind with a free dubstep mix.

Ya'll know, most stuff on my blog would be free and promotional, and yessur we only portray them stress relievers. Mathematically, by taking some of ya time, im reducing (potential)crime rates and such (kidding!)

I've known Agung a.k.a DJ Scratchy for quite sometime. Other than just being my producer who mixd and mastered my tracks on my numero uno studio mixtape Fresh Tapes, this person has always been musically an idol to me. A short biography bout this due wouldn't hurt as much. This personnel is few of those pioneer turntablist hip hop outfits who were performing scratches in them city streets of Bandung back in the days. He also took music production on a serious level beyond hip hop since he produced and engineered loads of art pieces to loads of fellow musicians across Indonesia. Ya'all want names? Dewi Sandra or Sandra Dewi (ask either one, i forgot).

Back to the story, this cat since than has been renowned or his skills on the turntable and authentic mixes at parties not mentioning producing skills. Few years back, lets say 2 years back - he developed a much improper way of saying lust towards drum n bass/ dub step/ electro-ish mixes. Ive been witnessing loads of DNB mixes to them average hip hop tracks. I'm those hooked fans who has been sharing loads of exclusive mixes with the personnel. Recently, Cronik Labs Studio, which is the home-ground for the Bandung underground hip hop camaraderie progressed to a better environment of studio upgrade. It has since been relocated and known as Trackbaze Studios to the Bandung local scene. This is the 1st essential product of them studio although it is rumored that Cronik would be recording their visuals soon for their footage.

Till Then if ya'all dig dub step and I recognized some glitch and grime in the midst of this mix.. feel free to download, hook up with ya favorite DJ, get some words about the mix and drop ya comments. Don't forget the 'Like' button.since you wouldn't get a 50 minute free mix like ya'll attended them private DNB parties ya'all got bassed out.

This is the 1st DNB/Dub Step/Glitch/Grime mix coming at ya'all straight from Bandung. Although over the years I've been hearing loads of live mixes from loads of them local DJs and DNB outfits - never have came across any recorded/internet friendly ear candies. Time to do some research

This mix starts with a lady asking me to 'show her..blabla'. Lolz.

Chilling
